STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Understand who we are, what we do, and what to expect before you make a decision.

Are you part of the U.S. Department of Education?

No. Nova Borrower Solutions is a private company. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education, Federal Student Aid, or any government agency.

Can I apply on my own?

Yes. You can review federal student aid information and apply independently through StudentAid.gov. Government applications may be available without paying a private company to prepare them.

Will your service lower my monthly payment?

We cannot promise or guarantee a lower payment. Any payment amount depends on applicable program rules, your circumstances, and decisions made by the relevant agency or loan servicer.

Do you forgive, reduce, or settle student loan debt?

No. We provide private administrative, consulting, and document-preparation services. We do not provide debt settlement or debt-relief services and do not control forgiveness decisions.

What does the service cost?

Fees depend on the service you select. Before enrolling, request a written explanation of the exact services, total fees, billing timing, cancellation policy, and any other applicable charges. Do not proceed unless you understand the terms.

How long does the process take?

Timing depends on how quickly information is collected and on the processing requirements of the applicable agency or servicer. We do not guarantee government processing times or outcomes.

Are you a loan servicer or lender?

No. We do not originate or service loans, and we cannot access or change your loan account as a lender or servicer would.

How do I stop text messages?

If you opted in to SMS and receive a message, reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. You can also contact us using the information on this website.

Is the contact form consent the same as SMS consent?

No. Submitting a general contact form does not enroll you in marketing texts. SMS consent is separate, optional, and collected on the Text Updates page.
